The challenge of this project was to design a tool that would make it possible to generate music through a drum pedal and a palm leaf. Something really unique and innovative that we faced with great enthusiasm. We had to achieve a design that would allow the musicians to assemble the equipment as effectively as possible.
To achieve the solution, it was key to work together with the musicians of La Higuera Estudio, to know in depth the ergonomics of a drum set and its pedal, and the necessary functionalities and requirements that we had to meet.
A tailor-made solution
Finally we designed a sheet metal part that allowed us to adjust with precision and flexibility thanks to the many bending angles and curves that we have designed. The metal finish gives us great versatility also aesthetically, adapting to the musicians' equipment.
